A beautiful definition.

A few days back, I was reading about Philosophy as my daily reading on wikipedia. And since one links leads to another, I came across a beautiful article about truth, passing via articles on epistemology, Einstein, Moore’s paradox, the film ‘Fight Club’, amongst another. I was also inspired by the laws and concept of propositional logic, and probably why I decided to quote this beautiful definition on my blog. The sentence is too beautiful not to paste here:

The Aristotelian definition of truth states:

“To say of something which is that it is not, or to say of something which is not that it is, is false. However, to say of something which is that it is, or of something which is not that it is not, is true.”

Does that make sense to you?

PS: Read it twice, you’ll see the meaning..Your comments..
